Falso Dritto and Mandritto Squalembrato Against a Riverso Squalembrato
This is a demonstration of a typical action from the Bolognese style of swordsmanship.
The agent, on the left, passes forward as he makes a cut of Riverso Squalembrato
to the head of the patient who is standing in Guardia Coda Lunga e Alta.
The patient, in response to the Riverso Squalembrato, steps diagonally offline with his right
foot and delivers a Falso Dritto to the agent's blade (the photo shows the beginning of the
agent's offline step and the preparation of the Falso Dritto).
The patient, having deflected the cut aimed at him, turns a Mandritto Squalembrato as he draws
his left foot around behind his right so that he faces his opponent.
The patient finishes his cut, his left foot coming to rest at the same moment he delivers the
Mandritto Squalembrato to his opponent's head.
